How are candidate shortlists screened?
Specialists undergo a rigorous 4-step evaluation: identity/KYC verification, technical skill & coding assessments, behavioral interviews, and verified employment background references.

How do I become a verified specialist on OaaS?
Register your profile, upload your resume or build one with Resume Studio, complete our skills assessment module, and verify your identity (KYC). Once approved, you enter our pre-screened specialist talent pool.
When and how do I get paid?
All projects are backed by pre-funded client eWallets. Once you submit timesheet logs or milestone deliverables and they receive client or supervisor approval, funds are immediately credited to your talent wallet, from which you can withdraw to your local bank account.
Are engagements remote, hybrid, or on-site?
We offer all three contract types. Most engineering and knowledge-work roles are 100% remote across Africa and global timezones, while operational and logistics roles may feature hybrid or on-site arrangements.

How are statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, WHT) handled?
For managed outsourcing contracts, OaaS automatically computes and remits required statutory taxes and pension contributions according to national labor and tax regulations, providing full audit-ready ledger statements.
What currencies are supported for deposits and withdrawals?
Our multi-currency platform supports local payments in NGN (Nigerian Naira), KES (Kenyan Shilling), GHS (Ghanaian Cedi), alongside international USD and GBP settlements via licensed payment partners.

Who owns the intellectual property created during contracts?
Upon release of escrow milestone payments, 100% of custom code, design assets, and work deliverables created by talent for the client are irrevocably assigned to the client.
What is the platform's non-circumvention policy?
Users agree to conduct all client-specialist hiring and disbursements exclusively through OaaS for 24 months from introduction. This protects escrow guarantees, tax compliance, and performance replacement SLAs.
Is OaaS compliant with data protection laws?
Yes. We strictly adhere to the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA/NDPR) and international GDPR guidelines. All databases are AES-256 encrypted, and communications run over TLS 1.3.
